Academic degree (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) with a background in computer science, bioinformatics, physics, or a related field - Proven experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis - Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as R/Bioconductor and Python

Bioinformatic analysis of multi-omics data with focus on single-cell and spatial transcriptomics RNA sequencing data to elucidate the tumor microenvironment and its influence on cancer progression and metastasis in renal cell carcinoma

Design and develop new software and data production pipelines for the UniProt database; Maintain and optimise production pipeline scripts and software modules; Organise, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot production procedures on daily basis and ensure coordination with other staff members

MSc (plus PhD preferred) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field - Excellent skills in statistical and biostatistical analysis - Detailed knowledge of programming languages, especially Python and R - Proficiency in machine learning methods applied to genome-scale datasets

Install, update, and troubleshoot bioinformatics tools on the HPC system. Develop and maintain pipelines for microbial and viral (meta-) genomics. Create containerized, reproducible environments (Conda, Apptainer). Maintain microbial and metagenomic databases with automated updates

You hold a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field with demonstrated expertise in RNAseq analysis (bulk and single-cell), RNA structure modeling (using tools like ViennaRNA and NUPACK) and MD simulations (e.g., with GROMACS)
